Project Identification Sign
When grant assistance is provided for acquisition or development work, a project identification sign will be displayed in a prominent location at the project site while project work is in process. The sign must be a minimum of eight (8) square feet in size (usually 2x4 feet), be constructed of plywood or other durable material, and identify the project and source of grant support. Any variation in the above specifications must be approved by the Department. The sign shall contain the following acknowledgment of grant assistance:
This project has been financed in part with Historic Preservation Grant assistance provided by the Bureau of Historic Preservation, Division of Historical Resources, Florida Department of State, assisted by the Florida Historical Commission.
The costs of preparation and erection of the project identification sign are allowable project costs; routine maintenance costs of signs are not allowable. A photograph of the project identification sign at the project site shall be submitted to the Department.
