Special Category Grant Application Deadlines

Application Review and Ranking*

  • November, by the Florida Historical Commission

    • *Applications for Historic Preservation Small Matching grants are reviewed and ranked in public meetings by ad-hoc Grant Review Panels appointed by the Secretary of State. Historic Preservation Special Category applications are reviewed and ranked by the Florida Historical Commission appointed by the Governor, President of the Senate and Speaker of the House. All grants are awarded by the Secretary of State, based on the recommendations of the Grant Review Panels or the Florida Historical Commission.
